What is the Muse?

An intentional home for people who want to thrive — together.

The Muse began in January 2023 with a shared dream: a home whose vibe and spirit would let everyone thrive most fully — a house where every member aligns head, heart, body and soul with integrity, and radiates that energy outward.

We come from 10+ nationalities and span sociology, mindfulness, game design, ecstatic dance, vegetarian cooking, and the future of society & technology. What unites us is a longing to build a future that is exciting, lighter, and resolutely optimistic.

What makes it different

Three uncommon things we put at the center.

🫶

Community first

Housemates show up for each other. We prioritize presence, emotional maturity and availability over how anyone looks on a résumé — forming deep, sometimes lifelong ties.

🧘

Physical embodiment

Platonic cuddles, yoga, dance and intentional movement are celebrated and woven into daily life. Bodies matter as much as minds here.

🔥

Social impact

We each spend meaningful time on projects that better society and connection — helping each other out as part of a larger community of changemakers.

As written up in the press

“Greek myths were in and AI was out at this San Francisco house party.”

We've hosted hundreds of dinners and built immersive all-house art experiences — including a 30-person, 45-scene immersive theater play to celebrate the return of Spring. Read the story →
